Mark Goldstein

A former CEO Collective Member and Strategic Ascent client, Mark joins the Katahdin Group team as CEO-in-Residence with a wealth of experience as a practitioner. With over 30 years of experience in Executive Leadership (12 of those as CEO), Mark brings incredible value and expertise to our clients.

During his tenure as CEO of 2020 Technologies Inc., an $80 million private equity backed interior design software company, Mark presided over a series of growth initiatives and operating efficiency improvements, leading to a nearly 6x return for its investors.

Mark also served as CEO of Abaqus, a supplier of advanced engineering analysis software. As CEO of Abaqus (and then SIMULIA after it was acquired by Dassault Systèmes) for seven years, the business tripled in size to over $150 million by broadening its value proposition and expanding its international distribution channel.

Mark has served or currently serves on the Board of Directors/Board of Advisors for numerous companies including 2020, Timroon, Dassault Systèmes Simulia Corporation and Comet Solutions. His extensive experience and knowledge makes Mark a terrific asset to our team.
