11:45 – 12:15 p.m.  - Future State Thinking and Storytelling: The Importance of Setting a Vision for Success and Telling a Compelling Narrative

To align your organization, it is always best to focus on building a great company, which includes fostering you team’s excitement around a consistent narrative and shared vision for success. Growing your company with a focus on exiting rarely results in a good outcome. Employees get distracted by chasing the ring, outcomes are hard to manage, personal agendas mesh with what should be the aligned goals of building a great company and delivering high quality products and services to customers. It’s imperative that CEOs set a direction that points the team towards an optimal, attainable, and inspiring future state. Simultaneously, CEOs need to make astute decisions that ensure that they are taking care of themselves and their families along the way. Keeping both in check is not always easy. This session will cover strategies and techniques to help with striking the balance.
